Supporting our community and improving the lives of local people

As our business grows, we want to make sure that we give back to the communities who have been part of its success, including the local community where our business is based. Back in 2017 we started our programme of social commitment, which is split into local, national and international projects.

Since then, we have supported our local community with a variety of projects including the purchase of 5 defib units which are strategically located in the villages of Corwen and Glyndyfrdwy, and donations to several local charities.

This year we are pleased to support 3 local initiatives including CCTV installation for Corwen Community Garden, Corwen Youth Football and Outdoor Classrooms equipment for Ysgol Caer Drewyn & Ysgol Carrog.

Director Susan Edwards said,

“At Ruth Lee we are very proud of the team we have, the majority of whom live in the local vicinity of Corwen. Therefore, it is very important to us to support local initiatives through our social commitment projects. We hope the money goes someway to improving the lives of local people.”
