Security checks carried out by our Payment Processor, SagePay are thorough but occasionally we need further information to complete your order. In these instances we will contact you by email or telephone to ask additional questions to verify the identity of the person placing the order. Please have patience with us in these cases.
Ruth Lee Returns
All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble guarantee. Unsuitable items must be returned clean and in their original condition and packaging.
We reserve the right to refuse returns of items that are not in their original condition.
Ruth Lee Ltd reserves the right to either repair or replace affected parts or the entire unit at their sole discretion. In most instances a digital photo of the product in question showing the damage will help qualify a product for return to the factory. At no time will any product be accepted at the plant without a proper return authorization issued by Ruth Lee Ltd
Shipping charges will be the sole responsibility of the end user and no product will be received with shipping charges due. Any product considered for warranty work must be identified by a date of purchase and invoice number from the agency through whom the product was purchased. Without this information, the product will not receive a return authorization.

Our returns period is 14 days from when you receive the goods, and any returned items must be received by us within this time. This date is by which any returns must be received back to us, so please allow up to 5 working days for your goods to reach us.
We will let you know as soon as we receive the goods, and will then process your request for either a refund or replacement as quickly as possible. In some cases this may take a few days depending on the product, so please bear with us.
If you have requested a refund, we will refund your credit card within 2 days but please note that once we have refunded your card, it is then out of our control when your bank refunds the money onto the credit card. Any refunds due are credited back to the card used to pay for the original order.
If you have requested a replacement of a higher value, we will telephone you to take payment information over the telephone for the difference.
How to return items
If you wish to return an item to us, you may do so by giving us prior notice. Please email email@example.com and give details of the Order Number (if known), name, address, contact telephone number and e-mail address, the reason for the return and whether a refund or replacement is required.
Please return all items unused and in their original condition and packaging. You can use the original packaging to return the item, but please ensure that the original addressee label is covered completely and please write your order number on the top left hand side of the package, to assist us in identification on return to Ruth Lee Ltd.
Obtain a Certificate of collection/despatch from your courier for all returns and you should keep this Certificate until you have received your refund or replacement. We cannot take responsibility for goods lost in transit.
Ruth Lee Ltd warrants all their products to be free from any defect in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover abuse, accidental or purposeful damage, or any form of modification to the product.
If a product is faulty in any way please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately upon receipt of the product and give your order number. If the item is still in stock, we can either send you a replacement or refund the cost of item or you may wish to choose a different item.
Please follow the procedure for returns and send the item(s) to us together with a note, explaining the fault and stating the original order number. We will investigate the fault and offer you the choice of either a replacement or a refund, please note that you will not be responsible for carriage costs in this case.
Cancelling an Order
Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after delivery. Please note that you will be responsible for carriage costs in this case.

Terms & Conditions of Sale
No contract will subsist between you and Ruth Lee Ltd for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until Ruth Lee Ltd accepts your order by e-mail confirming that it has despatched your product.
For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England, and you and Ruth Lee Ltd. irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. All orders paid for by corporate debit or credit card will incur a 3% surcharge. BACS payments will not incur any charge.
