We are thrilled to announce that our patent for the Advanced Water Rescue Manikin has been approved! This ground-breaking technology is the first of its kind in the market and provides unparalleled functionality for drowning simulation.
Our Advanced Water Rescue manikins, adult and toddler, are the only training manikins in the world that offer comprehensive functionality for drowning simulation, including the use of hydrostatic squeeze and bubbling/non-bubbling simulations. We are proud to have developed a product that will make a significant impact on water rescue training.
The patent approval is a significant milestone for us, and we would like to thank our team and the experts at Lifecast Body Simulation for their tireless efforts in developing this technology and the manikins as a product range. We also extend our gratitude to our customers and partners who have supported us throughout the development process.
Liz Baugh, lead medical consultant at Red Square Medical, was one of the first people to use this manikin in a live training session during its development stage. She said:
“It would enhance our training dramatically. Not just from the perspective of how it feels to lift a real weight out of the water and what it’s like to resuscitate a realistically feeling body, but it also puts an additional layer of emotional reaction on top.”
Likewise, when UK-based lifeguard assessor Eddie Seaborne MBE MSM used the toddler manikin in one of his live training sessions he said:
“Undoubtedly the best child like manikin I have had the pleasure to train with spanning some 40 years in aquatics. Weight, size and features so realistic, it certainly enhanced the training.”
