FireWare Practice Fire Extinguisher

With the Practice Extinguisher Squeeze Handle students learn all the procedures that they need to command in a real situation. The lock pin needs to be removed, after which a short attempt is made. Subsequently the extinguishing techniques are practiced using the practice extinguisher.

In some practice situations foam and even water may not be desirable. You can leave out one or both fillings and only pressurize the extinguisher. In that case the procedure from choosing the correct extinguishing agent to launching an attempt to extinguish can still be practiced. Extinguishing only with air works well in combination with a silkflame.

The extinguisher is easy to fill by unscrewing the top with a key. Next, add (if desired) a layer of practice foam and water and pressurize the extinguisher with a simple compressor via the auto valve stem or the coupling on the hose. The filling pressure can be read on the pressure gauge.
