“…a brilliant bit of kit” – Glowing recommendation from Rhyl RNLI

We are proud to work with professionals who save lives, and that includes those who work out at sea or inland waterways. Water rescue is often challenging and therefore teams frequently carry out training in a range of scenarios to ensure that their crews are confident on the water.

Our range of Water Rescue manikins includes the popular Man Overboard and Search and Rescue manikins, plus Body Recovery dummies that sink, and Conscious Casualty manikins which have arms aloft – perfect for IRB training.

We are proud to have worked with RNLI Lifeboat Stations for many years – in fact, our Man Overboard manikin was developed with feedback from the RNLI. We were therefore pleased to recieve these photos, and feedback from Rhyl Lifeboat Station in North Wales.

“The Rhyl Lifeboat crew have been using the Ruth Lee Rescue Dummies for a number of years during our exercises out at sea and at training in the station. We use them in a number of ways, including man over boards, person in the water searches and carrying casualties in our different types of stretchers. The dummies or ‘Dead Freds’ as we call them, are a brilliant bit of kit that keeps our crews ready for anything!”
