We are thrilled to announce that Ruth Lee Ltd is now a member of the International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF), joining a global network of over 160 organisations across more than 50 countries dedicated to saving lives at sea.
The IMRF is at the forefront of maritime search and rescue (SAR) practice worldwide, providing advocacy, research, training, and practical resources to strengthen the global SAR community. With consultative status at the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the IMRF acts as a vital bridge between practitioners and policymakers, shaping safer, more coordinated, and resilient SAR systems.
For Ruth Lee, this membership represents an exciting opportunity to connect with leading maritime rescue organisations, share expertise, and contribute to the advancement of SAR training worldwide. Many of our manikins are already integral to maritime, water rescue, and search and rescue training programmes, from coastguard and RNLI exercises to offshore and industrial safety drills. Through our IMRF membership, we can ensure that our products continue to meet the evolving needs of maritime safety teams, while providing our customers with access to the latest SAR developments and best practices.
What this means for our partners and customers:
- Enhanced collaboration with global SAR organisations to improve rescue training scenarios.
- Access to the latest SAR resources, e-learning, and guidance from the IMRF.
- Opportunities to participate in international forums, webinars, and training exchanges.
- Confidence that Ruth Lee’s products are aligned with global best practices in maritime and water rescue.
Joining the IMRF is not just a milestone for Ruth Lee – it’s a commitment to supporting the global maritime rescue community and helping ensure that every rescue scenario, from training to real-life emergencies, is as safe and effective as possible.
We look forward to sharing insights from our membership with our customers, partners, and the wider SAR community in the months ahead.
